Celebrity mom Denise Richards was born and raised in Downers Grove, Illinois, before moving with her mother Joni, father Irv, and her older sister Michelle, to Oceanside, California when she was in high school. Almost immediately Denise started modeling and landing guest roles on television shows.
Denise’s first movie role in “Starship Troopers” was followed by several other feature films, including landing a coveted role as a Bond Girl in “The World Is Not Enough”. During the 2000’s she became a constant figure on every “most beautiful list”.
In 2001 Denise did a guest-starring stint on the TV series “Spin City” and made a love connection with actor Charlie Sheen. They married in June of 2002. Denise and Charlie welcomed their first daughter together, Sam Sheen, on March 9, 2004. They welcomed a second daughter, Lola Rose, on June 1, 2005.
The couple divorced in 2006 and, after a rocky split, they put aside their differences for their daughters’ sakes.
Sadly, she lost her mother Joni to cancer on November 30th, 2007. Denise’s father, Irv, went on to appear with her and her daughters on the reality show, “Denise Richards: It’s Complicated”.
She is currently working on the comedy television series “Blue Mountain State” and raising her adorable daughters.
Denise is a supporter of the charity foundations Clothes off Our Back and Feeding America.
