Easter can be a bit like Halloween – so fun to see how happy the kiddos are collecting their treats but not so fun dealing with the sugar-crash aftermath.
So here's an idea for using up all those marshmallow treats without resorting to eating them all yourself.
Start by gathering up all your goodies and grabbing some toothpicks.
String a few together to give the kids the idea and then let them loose. You can see that even my one year old really got into this activity (under my supervision of course).
And my three year old immediately went to work building the largest and most colorful structure he could think of.
Here's the best part, by presenting everything as a toy and not candy I was able to convince them Peeps are for playing with and not eating!
