A little treat! That’s all this is. They’re not full of healthy ingredients — they’re just a sweet, delicious, chewy treat! (And isn’t that okay, in moderation?)
Oh, and they’re gluten-free and super easy to make. Needless to say, both my boys love them!
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 3 1/2 cups marshmallows
- 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 8 cups salted popcorn
Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
Melt the butter with the marshmallows and chocolate in a large sauce pan over medium heat. Add the popcorn and mix until it’s well-coated with the mixture.
Pour half of the mixture on each of the baking sheets. Once it’s cool enough to touch, use your hands to shape little, 1-inch bundles.
